As for flights, booking direct provides the added bonus of protection in the event of a canceled or changed flight. But what most travelers don’t realize is that you can simply catch the ferry across the bay on your own for just 50 cents each way. From there, taxis will be waiting to take you to the factory for a fraction of the cost of a private car service. Even after the tour admission, booking on your own still saves money in your travel budget.
